Competition
WORK REQUIREMENT

All entries must be original and unpublished, and must not infringe on the copyright or intellectual property rights of others.

The entries should demonstrate racial harmony, mutual love, common development and world peace, highlight the cultural and ethnic characteristics of each country, and show the positive spirit of the youth in their own countries.
ENTRY GROUP

Each participant is allowed to enter multiple competition categories, and for each category, they can submit one artwork per submission.

Early Children: Primary 1 to Primary 4

Children: Primary 5 to Primary 10

Early Youth: Primary 10 to Primary 11
NOTE
1. The results of the artwork selection will be sent to the representatives of each country, who will then forward the information to the participating artists. Additionally, the results will be publicly announced on the official website http://so.sg.
2. For the selected artworks to be exhibited: Authors must send the original copies of their artworks to the designated receiving address within the specified timeframe. Please refrain from framing the artworks, and participants are responsible for covering the postage expenses. The delivery time and address will be communicated via email.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY SUBMISSION
1. Paperwork size requirement: A3, A4, 60cmx80cm or 85x85cm.
2. Image format is limited to JPG, JPEG or PNG, with a file size of no more than 5MB, resolution of no less than 300 DPI, and pixels of no less than 1024*768.
3. The video format is to be MP4 or MOV, and the file size is within 500MB.
4. Upon application, you need to provide a brief introduction in Chinese or English of less than 200 words and a 3-minute short video of yourself and the process of creating your artwork.
5. If an entry is shortlisted, the entrant must submit the original of the work, the exact mailing address and related matters will be notified by the organizing committee.
REQUIREMENT FOR PARTICIPATION
Each country's representative is responsible for organizing the registration details of participants, including names, grades, artwork categories, and artwork dimensions.
Please send this information to us, and we will generate a username and password for each participating student.
These login credentials will be sent to the respective country's representative, who will then forward them to each participant.
Participants can use their assigned username and password to log in to http://so.sg and upload their artworks.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EXHIBITION ARTWORK SHOWCASE

For the preliminary rounds, participants must submit the original copies of their artworks. After notification by the organizing committee, selected artworks should be mailed to the designated exhibition address, with the specific mailing address to be separately communicated by the committee.

Participants are required to send the original artworks to the specified address within the stipulated time frame. Please refrain from framing the artworks, and participants are responsible for covering the postage expenses. The delivery time and address will be communicated via email.

If the artwork qualifies for the international exhibition invitation after the preliminary rounds, authors must personally arrange for the shipping or transportation.

The organizers and hosting entities are not responsible for any liabilities arising during this process. After the exhibition concludes, the artworks will be retained in Singapore as a donation from the participants.

The hosting entity retains the ultimate decision-making authority regarding these donated artworks.
THE SELECTED AUTHORS OF THE AUDITION WILL RECIEVE:
01.
Gold, Silver and Bronze Award winners will receive certificates and plaques, while all other entrants will receive e-certificates for honorable mention or participation
02.
The winners of the gold, silver, and bronze awards will qualify to participate in the SIAT GLOBAL FINALS, the global championship.
03.
The national champions (those with the highest scores) from each country will receive scholarships to participate in the SIAT GLOBAL FINALS, the global championship. A total of three individuals will be awarded this scholarship (this reward is applicable only if there are more than 100 participants from the competing country).
04.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Award winners will be invited to participate in the 59th National Day Art Exhibition in Singapore. (For detailed exhibition information, please refer to the exhibition invitation letter.

The invitation letter will be conveyed to the award-winning participants by national representatives from June 15 to July 10. Confirmed participants will receive comprehensive exhibition details from us.)
05.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Award winners will be invited to join the International Ministry of Youth
-
Leadership Club and become a member of the club and qualify for the STEAM AHEAD SIAT Global Finals.

Each international overall champion in their respective categories will be awarded a scholarship provided by the foundation, with a value of 500 Singapore dollars. This scholarship will be granted to a total of three individuals.

(For detailed exhibition information, please refer to the exhibition invitation letter. The invitation letter will be conveyed to the award-winning participants by national representatives from November 1 to November 20. Confirmed participants will receive comprehensive exhibition details from us.)

Each international overall runner-up in their respective categories will receive a scholarship provided by the foundation, valued at 300 Singapore dollars. This scholarship will be awarded to a total of three individuals.

Each international overall third-place winner in their respective categories will receive a scholarship provided by the foundation, valued at 100 Singapore dollars. This scholarship will be awarded to a total of three individuals.

Winners will be invited to join the International Ministry of Youth Leadership Club as members. (For information about the International Ministry of Youth Leadership Club, please refer to the attached document.)

The international overall champions in each category (those with the highest scores) will be awarded scholarships to participate in the Singapore "Asia-Pacific Art Exhibition." A total of three individuals will receive this scholarship (this reward is applicable only if there are more than 50 participants in the competition).
Organizing Rights

This international competition is not divided by nationality, race, or the medium used. Judging is based solely on the merit of the artworks

The judging panel for this competition possesses the ultimate decision-making authority and holds the final interpretative rights regarding the competition results.

The organizing committee of the exhibition holds the copyright for all selected artworks, including the rights to exhibit, print, publish, distribute, broadcast, record, and screen.

Participants participating in the evaluation and whose works are selected are considered to have confirmed and complied with all the regulations outlined in the call for submissions. No objections can be raised thereafter.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as a pandemic or other force majeure factors that make it impossible to conduct the exhibition in person, the exhibition will be transformed into an online exhibition.

For artworks participating in the exhibition that require return, the mailing costs will be the responsibility of the exhibitor. If the exhibitor chooses not to have the artworks returned, it will be considered a donation to the competition platform, and the competition platform will handle them accordingly.

EXHIBITION CONDITIONS
•Qualification for participation is reserved for winners of gold, silver, or bronze awards in the 2024 3rd SIAT "Harmony in Diversity" Soong Ching ling Cup International Youth Art Competition.
•Invited individuals can submit up to three original artworks for exhibition.
•Award recipients or their representatives are eligible to attend the award ceremony on the presentation day. Costs for travel, accommodation, and other expenses are the responsibility of the attendee.
EXHIBITORS WILL RECIEVE
•One complimentary admission ticket to the "Asia-Pacific Art Exhibition" and "National Day Art Exhibition."
•Artworks will be featured in on-site exhibitions at the "Asia-Pacific Art Exhibition" and "National Day Art Exhibition," with participation in the opening ceremony.
•Assistance from the organizers in arranging the exhibition, including framing and related matters.
•Inclusion of exhibited artworks in the catalog of the "Asia-Pacific Art Exhibition" and "National Day Art Exhibition," with exhibitors receiving two copies of the catalog.
•Invitation to join the International Ministry of Youth Leadership Club, becoming a member with a one-year membership fee waiver.
•A complimentary international master class session and opportunity to take photos with internationally renowned artists.
•Participation Fee: SGD 200 for each exhibited artwork.
INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY OF YOUTH LEADERSIP CLUB
•International youth can apply to join, fill out the registration form, and become a member once confirmed by the club.
•The annual membership fee for the International Youth Leaders Club is $50 SGD.
•Youth invited to join the club are exempt from the membership fee for the current year.
•Joining the club comes with priority privileges.
•Members have the priority to participate in club activities, and they can attend one club activity free of charge.
•Members can apply for special educational assistance funds through the International Ministry of Youth Leadership Club from various foundations, supporting academic pursuits, living expenses, career development, and entrepreneurship planning.
•Members can schedule participation in various online free courses and public live courses organized by the International Ministry of Youth Leadership Club. Members also enjoy a 10% discount on master courses under the club.
•The International Ministry of Youth Leadership Club provides free comprehensive international quality assessments, academic performance evaluations, information on various international competitions, and study abroad research activities for its members.
